Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research is seeking a Principal Investigator to lead daily clinical trial activities at the Accel Research Sites in Decatur, GA. The role requires an MD or DO with an active license and board certification to oversee multi-site, multi-phase studies across several therapeutic areas.

The PI will ensure participant safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality data collection while coordinating with sponsors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required; active physician license in good standing required.
• Board certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the medical well-being and safety of study participants per FDA/ICH/GCP guidelines, protocols, and HIPAA.
• Provide overall site leadership to enhance efficiencies, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate and enroll only eligible participants into trials.
• Deliver and retain study participants through coordinated activities.
• Interact positively with sponsors, clients, and team members.
• Record data and participant information with attention to protocol guidelines and GCPs.
• Participate in protocol training for staff.
• Attend Investigator Meetings and continuing education to stay updated on recruitment issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on study needs.
