Job summary

Rosewood Ranch in Wickenburg, AZ seeks a Psychiatrist to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care as part of a multidisciplinary team. The physician will conduct initial evaluations, provide ongoing psychotropic management, and participate in discharge planning in an adult and adolescent program.

Requirements include an MD or DO, active/unrestricted license or eligibility, and board eligibility or certification in General/Adult Psychiatry. Child/Adolescent fellowship preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• Board eligibility or board certification in General/Adult Psychiatry; Child/Adolescent Fellowship preferred.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions with psychotropic management.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team for discharge planning.
• Communicate with referring providers and families as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to work at Rosewood Ranch located in Wickenburg, AZ.

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management.
• Maintain current and proper progress notes.
• Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed and provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
• Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General/Adult Psychiatry at minimum; Completion of Child/Adolescent Fellowship preferred.
• Active and unrestricted Medical License (or license-eligible).
• Comfort working in both outpatient and inpatient settings is very helpful.
• Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work; we can arrange training if needed.
