Job summary

Rosewood Ranch in Wickenburg, AZ, is hiring a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a full-time, on-site role Monday–Friday with some flexibility. The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support adults and adolescents with eating disorders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing with PMHNP focus.
• Board certification as PMHNP by ANCC.
• Current APRN or PCNS license or eligible to obtain one.
• CPR/BLS certification required before practice.
• New graduates welcome; clinical rotations count as experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations.
• Meet weekly with patients for follow-ups.
• Maintain current and accurate progress notes.
• Psychotropic medication management.
• Collaborate with the full treatment team.
• Communicate with referring providers and families.
• Provide input for discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Answer urgent questions after hours when needed.
• Manage a census of about 20 patients; see 1–2 times weekly.

We are seeking an Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work at Rosewood Ranch located in Wickenburg, AZ.

This is an FT position requiring onsite care Monday-Friday with flexibility.

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations.
• Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions.
• Maintain current and correct progress notes.
• Psychotropic medication management.
• Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed.
• Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
• Provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
• Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility, and practice within the scope of a PMHNP.
• Answer urgent questions from team when not on-site and/or after hours.
• Average census of 20 clients to see 1-2 times/week.
• Provide Psychiatric Assessments and follow-up medication management visits, participate in treatment team meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, conduct insurance peer to peer reviews as needed

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program.
• Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP.
• Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible.
• Must hold or obtain CPR / BLS certificate prior to providing services.
• New graduates are welcome; experience is highly desired, and we consider clinical rotations and/or practica to be clinical experience.
