Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the Psychiatric Urgent Care in Towson, MD. You will perform psychiatric evaluations, determine care level, and collaborate with psychiatrists and nursing staff to provide timely stabilization.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Nursing, active Maryland PMHNP license, and DEA registration, with a minimum of two years in psychiatric emergency care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or higher.
• Active Maryland PMHNP license.
• Maryland DEA registration (Controlled Substances).
• Minimum two years of experience in psychiatric emergency settings.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and determine level of care.
• Conduct patient interviews and review medical history and CRISP data.
• Assess medical stability and refer to appropriate acute care.
• Prescribe and manage medications with appropriate tests.
• Review admissions and ensure accurate medical documentation.

Formation

Master’s degree in Nursing

Doctorate preferred
