Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for a full-time urgent care role in the Baltimore region, with coverage of our Rotunda, Belvedere and Dundalk locations. You will serve as a clinical leader delivering high-quality patient care and a strong patient experience within a collaborative team.

The position requires Maryland licensure in good standing, an active NPI, and DEA/ CDS credentials, with prior urgent care or emergency medicine

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in good standing with the state of Maryland.
• Active NPI number, DEA registration, and CDS license required.
• Prior clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, intensive care, or primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• UM Urgent Care providers serve as clinical leaders in our centers - delivering exceptional medical care and patient experiences within a close-knit team with medical assistants and radiologic technologists.
• Care for patients ages one year and older across a broad range of conditions, including acute illness and minor injuries.
• Work 12-hour clinical shifts (8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.), typically 3 to 4 shifts per week, totaling about 12-14 shifts per month.
