Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Therapist for Psychiatric Urgent Care in Towson, MD. The role focuses on comprehensive psychiatric assessments, crisis intervention, and disposition planning for behavioral health crises, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications include a Master's in Social Work and active Maryland licenses (LCSW-C/LCPC). The position is full-time, on-site, with a base pay range of $75,000–$85,000 and a strong benefits package including tuition reimbursement and loan

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland licensure as LCSW-C and LCPC.
• Experience in emergency services, crisis intervention, psychiatric hospital, urgent care, or behavioral health settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Determine appropriate levels of care and make treatment and disposition recommendations including inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services.
• Review medical records, collateral information, laboratory results, and prescription monitoring data to support clinical decision-making.
• Facilitate referrals and transitions of care to ensure continuity of services and positive patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and treatment.
