Merakey is seeking a Psychiatric Technician I - PRN in Russellton, PA. The role supports adult residents in a residential program, following treatment plans and ensuring safety and welfare across mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health areas.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months experience in a mental health field.
• Knowledge of severe mental illness and recovery principles.
• Valid driver's license required.
• All OMHSAS clearances required.

• Minimum 6 months paid or volunteer experience in a related mental health field required,
• Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system required.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• All Clearances required by OMHSAS.

Position Details

The Psychiatric Technician I position works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all adult residents in the Residential Program including mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. The individual participates in carrying out residents treatment plan goals and assisting with the treatment planning process, as well as providing support with direct care responsibilities.
