Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assesses and treats children, adolescents, and adults seeking psychiatric and/or chemical dependency treatment.
• Collaborates with referral sources, patients, families, and team members regarding care coordination.
• Serves as the initial contact for patients, families, and referral sources, providing intake screening and initial observations.
• Leads patients in therapeutic and recreational activities.
• Monitors patients' wellbeing and reports concerns to medical staff.
• Observes patients for safety as directed by RN/LPN.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, laundry, and dressing.
