Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children, adolescents, and adults seeking psychiatric and/or chemical dependency treatment.
• Collaborate with referral sources, patients, families, and team members regarding care coordination.
• Serve as initial contact for patients, families, referral sources and/or allied agencies seeking intervention or support; provide intake screening reports.
• Lead patients in therapeutic and recreational activities.
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional wellbeing and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to medical staff.
• Observe patients for safety as directed by RN/LPN including rounding and direct observation.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, laundry, dressing, etc.).
