Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• 1 year behavioral health experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications within 30 days.
• Nights shift availability and ability to work with adults, adolescents and children.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children, adolescents and adults seeking psychiatric or chemical dependency care.
• Communicate patient, resident and family needs to physicians clearly and completely.
• Collaborate with referral sources, patients, families and team on care coordination.
• Serve as initial contact for patients, families and referral sources seeking support.
• Complete intake screenings and monitor vital signs and safety checks.
• Lead patients in therapeutic and recreational activities and monitor wellbeing.
• Observe patients for safety and assist with activities of daily living when needed.
