Qualifications

• Valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• A valid California Class C Driver License or ability to use an alternative method of transportation.
• Emergency designation allowing initial appointment up to 90 days with potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for homeless and justice-involved individuals in jail, community, or court settings.
• Provide oversight of outreach and engagement of community-based providers and monitor service plans and progress.
• Coordinate with other County departments to assess appropriate referrals and housing/health service connections.
• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, groups, families, and significant others and establish treatment plans.
