Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse in Vermont.
• Preferred 1 year psychiatric nursing or 2 years general nursing experience.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities for a given shift.
• Assess, implement and evaluate patient/family care.
• Administer medications as part of nursing care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of specimen collection and toxicology testing.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu in assigned area.
• Document crisis interventions and outcomes.
• Develop and implement the multidisciplinary plan of care.
• Share information with team via reports and documentation.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
