Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice or compact state.
• BLS certification required within facility policy.
• HWC or CPI certification required within facility policy.
• ACLS preferred.
• Six months of RN experience in direct patient care; behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric assessments and formulate individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient condition, update treatment plans, and document progress.
• Administer medications and treatments including psychotropics.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and therapeutic routines.
• Participate in group, family, or individual therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and coping strategies.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and assist with discharge planning.
• Engage in crisis intervention and behavioral de-escalation as needed.
• Document assessments and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Maintain confidentiality and foster a safe therapeutic environment.
