Job summary
Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time evening shifts (3:00pm-11:30pm) at LOH Main location. The role involves assessing patients, planning and documenting care, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, therapeutic patient experiences.
Requirements include a nursing degree and state RN license; preferred psychiatric experience and CPI certification within 90 days.
Qualifications
- Maintain information as highly confidential.
- Nursing degree required.
- One-year psychiatric experience preferred.
- Familiarity with abnormal psychology and systems of rewards/consequences.
Responsibilities
- Regularly performs duties of professional nurse, assesses patients, develops and administers plans of care, documents care, and evaluates outcomes.
- Collaborates with Resource and Referral to facilitate admissions and transfers, provides thorough hand-off communication at transitions.
- Interacts with patients, families, and health care providers to analyze needs for discharge planning and integrated treatment.
- Assists in development and attainment of nursing department goals, participates in program evaluation and department improvement.
- Attends trainings; supports staff and students; communicates organization policies and procedures.
