Peak View Behavioral Health in Colorado Springs, CO, is hiring a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide nursing care, develop care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. This onsite role covers day and night shifts, with tuition assistance and growth opportunities.

You will assess patients, administer medications with strict safeguards, document care, and educate patients and families about conditions and treatments. Join a supportive team dedicated to behavioral health.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years' nursing experience; behavioral health preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards in an acute psychiatric setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and coordinate care; develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Administer medications per orders with two identifiers.
• Document and maintain medical records; educate patients and families.
• Communicate with treatment team; hand-off reports each shift.
• Monitor patient acuity, census, staffing; escalate as needed.
• Complete admissions and discharges accurately.
