Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 64-bed in-patient facility with a focus on psychiatric care. The role requires one year of psychiatric nursing experience and entails shce routine night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a flexible schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, etc.

Interdisciplinary collaboration and crisis interventions are key. The RN will conduct medication evaluations, participate in therapy sessions, and support treatment planning while documenting proceedings and

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year state-accredited school of nursing with at least one year of experience in psychiatric nursing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong psychosocial and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with professionals and clients/families.
• Proven ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Communicate effectively with physicians as needed.
