UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital in Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to support the Integrated Health and Aging Program on the Oakland campus. The role involves evening/night rotations, three 12-hour shifts, and care for older adults with complex psychiatric and medical needs.

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing is required; BSN preferred. Starting rates for GN level $35.75 and BSN $37.25 per hour, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates with a two-year

Qualificações

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing is required.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state or compact.
• BSN preferred.
• Six months of experience in Clinical Psychiatry preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs a nursing assessment and initial plan of care within 8 hours of admission.
• Orients and educates patient regarding hospitalization.
• Documents in the medical record per policies.
• Manages medication administration safely and accurately.
