Hartford HealthCare's Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Per Diem Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join St. Vincent's Behavioral Health in Westport, CT. The role offers scheduling flexibility and opportunities to provide inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care.

Join a collaborative team of psychiatrists, APPs, nurses, therapists, and support staff in a leading Connecticut behavioral health program within Hartford HealthCare’s extensive system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in PMHNP.
• Current Connecticut APRN license or eligibility.
• PMHNP-BC board certification.
• DEA and CT Controlled Substances Registration, or eligible to obtain.
• Minimum of three years of PMHNP experience in inpatient/outpatient/behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provide per diem psychiatric mental health care across inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, APPs, nurses, therapists and support staff.
• Deliver patient-centered behavioral health care within St. Vincent's Behavioral Health.
• Engage with Hartford HealthCare's behavioral health resources and teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Connecticut APRN license or eligibility for Connecticut licensure.
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• DEA and Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration, or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in an inpatient, outpatient, emergency psychiatry, or behavioral health setting.
