Job summary

Qualifications

• Bilingual preferred.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant with special emphasis on psychiatric training or M.D. with psychiatric residency.
• Licensure as Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Medical License, or Physician's Assistant License; BLS and unrestricted DEA may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality psychiatric services in an integrated care program within family medicine.
• Collaborate with Primary Care Physicians and Behavioral Health Consultants.
• Prescribe psycho-pharmacological medications following guidelines and collaboration agreements.
• Monitor pharmacotherapy and labs to support holistic care.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and counsel patients.
