Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C., a nationwide network of advanced practice providers, seeks warm and razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioners to perform consultations in nursing homes. You will have full administrative support and clinical mentorship, with the flexibility and autonomy of private practice.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.
• ANCC Board Certification.
• Ability to travel in New York.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Strong patient assessment skills.
• Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic.
• Prolonged sitting. Computer work including keyboard and mouse use for extended periods. Lift/move patients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.
