Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a warm and razor-smart Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to perform consultations in nursing homes. You will receive full administrative support and clinical mentorship, with the flexibility and autonomy of private practice.

Competitive, incentive-based compensation and mentorship opportunities are offered. Ideal candidates have an MSN, NP board certification, and are willing to travel.

Formación

• MSN required.

• ANCC board certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel to New York.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong patient assessment skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Follow up with patients and assess intervention efficacy.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and make treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, prioritizing non-pharmacological approaches where possible.

Job Summary

We are seeking warm and razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioners with entrepreneurial spirits to perform consultations in nursing homes. As psychiatric nurse practitioners, you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship. Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANNC Board Certification
• Ability to travel in New York
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic
• Prolonged sitting. Computer work including keyboard and mouse use for extended periods. Lifting/moving patients.
