Job summary

Community And Rural Health Services in Fremont, Ohio is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to care for a diverse patient population, adults and children. The role offers a $130,000 base salary, no RVUs, and paid malpractice; NHSC loan repayment eligibility for full-time staff.

You will work weekdays with no weekends, perform mental health assessments, coordinate with providers and CHS staff, and adhere to HIPAA and safety guidelines. Requires OH license and BLS.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum two years of psychiatric NP experience.
• Experience with EHR systems; eCW is a plus.

Come join our team as a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Community Health Services- 2221 Hayes Avenue in Fremont. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, compassionate NP, who enjoys caring for a diverse population of patients--including both adults and children. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience.

$130,000 base salary, no RVU's and paid malpractice insurance. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, our providers are eligible to apply for student loan repayment through National Health Service Corps (NHSC)- up to $75,000 for full-time employees. Other benefits include paid vacation, sick time, and retirement benefits.

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with patients Monday through Friday- No Weekends
• Perform Adult and Pediatric Mental Health Assessments
• Communicate clearly with Providers, Patients, and CHS Staff
• Follow all safety, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines

What We’re Looking For:

• Current License to practice in the State of Ohio as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Minimum of two years as a Psychiatric NP preferred
• Knowledge of documenting with EHR- eCW experience a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to critically think and problem solve
