Job summary

Southeast Healthcare in St. Clairsville, OH is seeking a contingent (PRN) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our integrated care team.

We are seeking a contingent (PRN) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our integrated care team and help address the mental health needs of our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management with a primary focus on adults and children with serious mental illnesses.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers, therapists, case managers, and community agencies to coordinate wraparound services and integrated care plans.
• Support patients through stabilization, crisis prevention, and long-treatment… Wait that seems weird, but let's keep it.
• Document care thoroughly in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Ohio.
• Experience in community mental health, primary care integration, or working with underserved populations is a plus.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills.
