Qualifications

• MSN required and licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.
• ANNC Board Certification.
• Ability to travel within Massachusetts.

• Strong patient assessment skills.
• Proactive and patient-centric work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments where possible.
