Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking warm and razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioners to perform consultations in nursing homes. As psychiatric NP, you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship, with the autonomy of private practice.

This part-time, 1099 contract role offers an incentive-based compensation model and flexible hours. Travel within Massachusetts to round at assigned facilities is expected, with a focus on integrating pharmacological and behavioral

Qualifications

• MSN degree required and active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license.
• ANNC board certification required.
• Willingness to travel within Massachusetts.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing home staff, residents and families.
• Follow up with patients and assess intervention efficacy.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at nursing homes and advise psychiatric treatment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANNC Board Certification
• Ability to travel in Massachusetts
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic
• Prolonged sitting. Computer work including keyboard and mouse use for extended periods. Lifting/moving patients.
