Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking warm and razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioners to perform consultations in nursing homes, with full administrative support and clinical mentorship.

Qualifications

• MSN required and NP license in NY.
• Board certification in psychiatry (ANNC) preferred.
• Willingness to travel within New York state.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric consultations in nursing homes.
• Develop treatment plans combining pharmacological and behavioral interventions.
• Collaborate with nursing home staff and families.
• Provide education on best practices for resident care.
• Travel to assigned facilities as needed.

Job Summary

As psychiatric nurse practitioners, you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship. Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANNC Board Certification
• Ability to travel in New York
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic
• Prolonged sitting. Computer work including keyboard and mouse use for extended periods. Lifting/moving patients.
