Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking warm and razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioners to perform consultations in nursing homes. As psychiatric nurse practitioners, you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship.

Qualifications

• MSN required for Psychiatric NP role.
• Active Psychiatric NP license in NY.
• ANCC Board Certification required.
• Willingness and ability to travel within New York state.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and thorough documentation.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Follow up on patients and assess efficacy of interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and propose psychiatric medications and treatments.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, prioritizing non-pharmacological options when possible.

Job Summary

We are seeking warm and razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioners with entrepreneurial spirits to perform consultations in nursing homes. As psychiatric nurse practitioners, you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship. Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANNC Board Certification
• Ability to travel in New York
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic
• Prolonged sitting. Computer work including keyboard and mouse use for extended periods. Lifting/moving patients.
