Job summary

Monte Nido is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join Rosewood Ranch in Wickenburg, AZ. This onsite, part-time position requires flexibility and closes with a strong, multidisciplinary treatment team.

You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide ongoing follow-up visits, manage psychotropic medications, and participate in discharge planning. The role emphasizes collaboration and adherence to regulatory standards within a compassionate care setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PMHNP from an accredited program.
• Board certification as PMHNP (ANCC).
• Current APRN license or eligibility to obtain one.
• CPR/BLS certification required prior to providing services.
• Minimum 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations.
• Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions.
• Maintain current and accurate progress notes.
• Psychotropic medication management.
• Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed.
• Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
• Provide input for discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and scope of practice.
• Address urgent questions from the team after hours.
• Manage an average census of 20 clients with 1–2 visits per week.

We are seeking an Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work at Rosewood Ranch located in Wickenburg, AZ.

This is a pt position requiring onsite care with flexibility.

• Answer urgent questions from team when not on-site and/or after hours.
• Average census of 20 clients to see 1-2 times/week.
• Provide Psychiatric Assessments and follow-up medication management visits, participate in treatment team meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, conduct insurance peer to peer reviews as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program.
• Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP.
• Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible.
• Must hold or obtain CPR / BLS certificate prior to providing services.
• Required 1+ years experience post-graduation
