Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse to provide psychiatric/behavioral health patient care under RN supervision in hospital or community settings. You will apply nursing process, make clinical judgments, and collaborate with the care team.

This travel position requires an active LPN license in the state of assignment, with preference for 1 year in psychiatric/behavioral health. Eligible for health insurance, 401(k), and weekly paychecks.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of assignment.
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the psychiatric unit and support patient care needs.

Job description

The Psychiatric orMental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the applicationof the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unitof a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsiblefor care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of aRegistered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

• Current LPN license in state of assignment
