Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric LPN for a travel assignment in Canon City, CO. The nurse will provide care in the psychiatric unit under RN supervision and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, patient-centered nursing.

Requirements include an active LPN license in the state, CPR if applicable, and meeting all regulatory standards; 1 year psychiatric experience preferred. Travel pay is weekly with comprehensive benefits.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements
