Job summary

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is a 119-bed inpatient behavioral health facility located just outside State College, Central PA. This full-time LPN role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a diverse program lineup serving patients from children to adults.

Responsibilities include nursing care, medication administration, crisis response, and collaboration with the Nurse Manager and DON to maintain high standards of patient safety and care. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania LPN License.
• Interest in Psychiatric Nursing.
• On-the-job training and education provided.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis.
• Facilitates medication administration per safe practices and patient education.
• Responds to crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.
• Communicates patient treatment response and behavioral changes to the team.
• Administers medication under supervision of Charge RN.
• Ensures a safe environment through rounds and milieu management.
