The position requires a PharmD or BS with 1 year of pharmacy experience, English proficiency, and Texas licensure eligibility within 30 days, plus sterile IV compounding, BLS, and ACLS certifications within

Qualifications

  • Education: BS degree or PharmD degree required.
  • Experience: 1 year of pharmacy experience.
  • English proficiency: speaking, reading, writing in English.
  • Licensure: Eligible for licensure by Texas State Board of Pharmacy; license required within 30 days.
  • Certifications: Sterile compounding (IV) certification accredited by ACPE; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 180 days.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify medication orders and monitor patient responses.
  • Educate staff and patients on medication use and safety.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Manage technicians and supervise pharmacy workflow, including IV/central pharmacy operations.
