The Clinical Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in a psychiatric hospital setting, ensuring the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications for mental health conditions. This role involves reviewing and verifying medication orders, monitoring patient responses to psychotropic therapies, and collaborating closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize treatment outcomes. The pharmacist also educates staff and patients on medication use, manages potential drug interactions and side effects, and ensures compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
