Job summary

Enid Chamber is seeking a Psychiatric Clinical Assistant to support care management for patients treated by a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. The role functions as a liaison among medical, behavioral, and support staff, assisting with tasks to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position emphasizes first-contact with patients, intake procedures, coordination of care, and collaboration with the Behavioral Health team to monitor progress and medication adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• On-the-job training, previous experience preferred.
• Personal maturity, cooperation, ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintains first line contact with all patients who come into clinic and walks the patient through the Psychiatric Intake procedures.
• Performs routine intake procedures such as height, weight, temperature, pulse, blood pressure readings, and brief assessments as needed.
• Assists with laboratory procedures as requested by the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Assists with office procedures.
• Responsible for triaging patients who will be seeing the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Assists the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with care of patients.
