Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a full-time LTC role in Kentucky, with a Monday–Friday 9:00–17:00 schedule and no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include behavioral/physical health care, screenings, vital signs, injections, medication monitoring, and client education on pharmaceuticals, with travel within the service area as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Psych RN LTC

Full-Time Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

No Weekends

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN Salary $64k-$71k per year
