Universal Health Services' Central Florida Behavioral Hospital in Orlando seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric nursing care for children, adolescents, adults and chemical dependency patients, using the nursing process to assess needs and plan outcomes.

You will administer medications, ensure safety, and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment plans within a milieu-management framework and crisis-intervention strategies at a respected UHS facility.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; Associate's Degree required, BSN preferred.
• Current Florida RN license required.
• Minimum one year related experience; psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Current CPR Certification required.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and direction to licensed vocational nurses, psychiatric technicians, and counselors.
• Assess patients’ psychiatric and medical status.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary treatment plan development.
• Document nursing care, treatment, and patient responses.
• Recognize mental health and chemical dependency signs and intervene appropriately.
