The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care for psychiatric patients, including child, adolescent, geriatric and chemical dependency patients using the nursing process. Duties include: assess mental health needs, develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care; administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician; ensure safety and provide milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.
