Job summary

Southridge Behavioral Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. You will coordinate patient care, supervise Mental Health Technicians, and ensure safety and comfort across four units.

Qualified applicants graduate from an accredited nursing program, with Michigan RN license and at least three years in psychiatric settings preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $8,000 and loan repayment are offered.

Position Description

The Registered Nurse RN coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the Mental Health Technicians on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients.

Hours and Location

Full-Time. 7pm to 7:30am for night shift. Every other weekend rotation.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required.

Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

License: Registered Nurse RN license issued by the State of Michigan required.
