This role requires MD/NP license in Maryland, PMHNP-BC certification, DEA license, and experience with psychopharmacology and EHR documentation. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license.
• Board certification as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• DEA license with Maryland prescriptive authority.
• Experience in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and psychopharmacology.
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and patient engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for new and existing patients.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and medication management protocols.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications per evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and interdisciplinary care teams for holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR system.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
