Qualifications

• Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license
• Board certification as PMHNP-BC
• DEA license and prescriptive authority in Maryland
• Experience with psychiatric evaluation and psychopharmacology
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and evidence-based treatments

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and medication management
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications per evidence-based practice
• Collaborate with therapists and care teams for holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR system
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
