Job summary

Alliance Wellness Solutions in Towson, MD is seeking a compassionate PMHNP to join our growing behavioral health team. You will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, manage medications, and collaborate with therapists, counselors, and primary care providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

This role requires MD licensure in Maryland, PMHNP-BC certification, DEA registration, and at least three years in mental health settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland PMHNP-BC certification and an active Maryland APRN license.
• DEA registration with prescriptive authority in Maryland.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a psychiatric specialty.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in inpatient or outpatient mental health settings.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric care, medication management, and psychopharmacology.
• EHR proficiency and thorough clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for new and established patients
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions across the lifespan
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans including psychopharmacology and therapy referrals
• Monitor patient progress, adjust medication regimens, and document clinical outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including therapists, counselors, and primary care providers
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, and mental wellness strategies
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system

• Current, unrestricted Maryland state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in the state of Maryland
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a psychiatric/mental health specialty
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric care, medication management, and psychopharmacology preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach to care
