Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a PSM/RMP specialist to maintain compliant programs for ammonia systems at our facility. The role involves updating SOPs, training records, and leading PSM meetings while supporting sustainability initiatives.

The successful candidate will have at least a high school diploma and 1+ year related experience, with familiarity in PSM regulations and related software preferred. This is an on-site role in Texas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 1+ year of directly related experience; OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of PSM/RMP regulations and related software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a compliant PSM and RMP program at the facility.
• Participate in ammonia system operations as necessary.
• Manage and update PSM documentation, SOPs and training records.
• Organize and lead PSM meetings; maintain action item logs and assist in resolution.
• Support the facility’s Environmental Sustainability initiatives.
• Assist with ammonia refrigeration projects, including scope development and Management of Change processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

WhatYou’llNeed:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.
• Experience:1or more years of directly related experience required,withknowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119regulationsandAPSM or similar PSM compliance software experience preferred.
• Skills:Ability to read and interpret piping, instrument, and block flow diagrams; basic understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, SAP knowledge is a plus; strong communication and problem-solving skills;self-motivated and capable of working independently.
