Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation is seeking a PSM/RMP Coordinator to lead and coordinate process safety management activities across Alaska plants, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA and state regulations while promoting a strong safety culture.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience in PSM/RMP, an associate degree in a technical field, and the ability to train staff, perform audits, and manage change processes in a heavy industry environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience leading and coordinating PSM and RMP activities.
• Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent, in a technical topic.

Responsibilities

• Implements PSM programs and ensures that regulatory requirements are met at a minimum as directed by the Corporate Industrial Refrigeration Manager.
• Provides direction to the PSM teams and assists the plants in developing, implementing, and sustaining plant specific policies, procedures, programs, and training to achieve and maintain compliance with Health & Safety and environmental laws and regulations.
• Conducts audits and inspections of plant performance and activities.
• Coordinates, and participates in PSM and RMP program activities at a local and asset level which include management of change, pre-startup safety review, and process hazard analysis activities.
• Promotes a process safety culture and drives improvements in the PSM/RMP programs.
