Job summary

BGE, Inc. is a nationwide civil engineering consulting firm seeking a senior land surveyor in the Tampa area to lead surveying efforts on roadway and public infrastructure projects.

The role involves client interactions, project coordination, and ensuring accuracy in all survey deliverables. Qualified candidates will hold PSM licensure and have extensive land surveying experience, including roadway projects, with strong skills in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.

Qualifications

• PSM Licensure required.
• 8 years of experience in Land Surveying; FDOT experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Prior experience with roadway projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, with minor adaptations.
• Plan and coordinate detailed phases of surveying work for projects of moderate scope.
• Perform work involving conventional surveying with some complex features.
• Direct conversations with clients at project start, during, and end.
• Capable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors and technicians.
• Seal professional surveying documents.
• Other duties as assigned.
