Orbia is seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM) Engineer at the St. Gabriel, LA site to advance its PSM program across technical and operations disciplines, focusing on risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

You will lead hazard analyses, incident investigations, audits, and cross-functional training, collaborating with site leadership and corporate teams to sustain world-class process safety performance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Formal Process Safety Management (PSM) qualification.
• Project Management certification or formal training is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and participate in PSM program development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor PSM procedures and management systems.
• Lead process hazard analyses (HAZOPs, LO/PA, SIL assessments) and risk studies.
• Manage incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute risk-reduction initiatives.
• Promote PSM culture through training and capability development.
• Participate in audits, performance monitoring, and reporting to leadership.
• Coordinate with site leadership, corporate teams, and external stakeholders.
