Job summary

Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. in Texas is seeking a PSM Engineer to lead the implementation of Process Safety Management and risk reduction initiatives at our Point Comfort facility.

You will provide technical and regulatory support for PHA, LOPA, and related analyses, and ensure compliance with state, federal, and company requirements. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in a petrochemical setting, and relevant PHA/LOPA/SIS training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a petrochemical facility or refinery with OSHA PSM
• Strong background in Process Safety and Risk Management elements
• Experience implementing and leading PHA, LOPA and related risk analyses

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and oversee Process Safety Management programs and regulatory compliance
• Lead and develop teams to build Process Safety competency
• Coordinate regulatory interpretation and training to meet corporate objectives
• Collaborate across functions to drive risk reduction and process safety improvements
• Ensure environmental stewardship and regulatory adherence at the site
