Job summary

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef in Arkansas City, KS seeks an experienced Process Safety Management (PSM) Supervisor to lead the facility's PSM/RMP program, PHAs, mechanical integrity, and training. Responsibilities include preparing compliance documentation, leading incident investigations, coordinating with local authorities, and ensuring 14 elements compliance. Requires 5+ years in PSM or Bachelor’s and PHA certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a PSM regulated facility or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certified Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) facilitator.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the PSM/RMP program elements are in place, in use and effective.
• Ensure regulatory goals, objectives and due dates are met with appropriate resources and management notice.
• Communicates regulatory, safety, risk management requirements, changes, consults, and issues to the PSM Team and leadership.
• Responsible for preparing and submitting the RPM and updating it when required.
• Ensure that all 14 elements of the PSM/RMP Program are compliant with regulations.
• Conduct PSM/Refrigeration and Steering committee meetings with affected employees on PSM aspects.
• Compile, maintain, and provide Process Safety Information for ammonia refrigeration equipment.
• Perform and ensure PHAs are performed, track actions, and document resolutions with due dates.
• Ensure SOPs are accurate and annually certified; update when changes occur.
• Ensure initial and refresher operator training is performed; coordinate with GCAP and RETA as needed.
• Evaluate contractors and supervise Refrigeration Projects; maintain Approved Contractor List.
