The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Utah seeks qualified, boarded Advance Practice Providers to join our growing practice. As the only academic medical center in the Intermountain West, we perform nearly 1000 cases per year, including advanced heart failure, mechanical support, and thoracic transplantation. Our division is team-focused and serves as a central training hub for Thoracic Surgery residents and PAs in the region.
Office environment, with frequent exposure to infectious diseases, oils, hazards, and physical activities like walking, standing, and sitting. Continuous hearing, listening, and talking are required; repetitive hand motions and occasional bending or reaching overhead.
This position is patient-sensitive; all employees must adhere to CDC vaccination standards unless medically or religiously exempted. The role requires credentialing and privileging upon hire.
