Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a results-driven professional to support the engineering services team within Parts Supply & Logistics (PS&L) of FCSD. You will design layouts, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement projects across multiple facilities, with periodic travel and on-site work in the Detroit area.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and offers opportunities to leverage AutoCAD, SAP EWM, and BI tools while collaborating with purchasing, finance, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred and beneficial for advanced roles.
• Experience with CAD tools and ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and install solutions at Ford distribution operations with 3rd party vendors.
• Collaborate across purchasing, finance, manufacturing, and labor affairs.
• Process requisitions, approvals, POs, invoices and discrepancy reconciliations.
• Use AutoCAD to modify facility layouts and CAD drawings.
• Analyze material flow and storage; propose data-driven improvements.
• Pull SAP EWM data and perform BI visualizations for PS&L stakeholders.
• Benchmark with OEMs and build business cases for leadership.
• Manage projects to meet deadlines and budgets in a fast-paced setting.
• Onsite at Detroit metro PS&L facilities 3–4 days/week; periodic travel.
