University of Utah is seeking a project management support professional to assist across disciplines such as construction, engineering, operations, and technical. The role includes reviewing proposals, ensuring contract compliance, coordinating with internal and external partners, and issuing project amendments.
It also covers scheduling, earned value management, budget review, and change analysis while reporting progress to leadership; grant-funded at times.
Provide support to the project management function across various disciplines (e.g., construction, engineering, operations, technical). Review project proposals, ensure compliance with contract language, coordinate agreements and contracts with internal and external partners, and issue and track project amendment documentation. Perform technical support including project scheduling and planning, earned value management, budget review/cost analysis, and change‑of‑scope impact analysis. Communicate any issues, problems, or additional information to project managers and stakeholders and recommend solutions. Monitor and evaluate project timelines and activities and report progress to project managers and leadership. Support the development and implementation of programs and play an important role in day‑to‑day project activities. This position is partially funded by grants.
